Medical Supervision:   The medical team is led by Dr. Gebran Guarado.

Patients are evaluated by our cardiologist who has experience working with ibogaine and its effects on the heart. Laboratory studies will give us an assessment of the patient’s condition. We will perform a complete biochemical profile (renal function, liver function, electrolytes, blood lipid profile, etc.). Complete blood count. We will also run tests with a 12-lead electrocardiogram, an echocardiogram, and a complete physical examination.

Psychological, emotional and spiritual stabilization and support are also an important part to our successful outcomes with Ibogaine treatment.

Before, during and after treatment, patients’ vitals are monitored by our medical staff who has extensive experience working with Ibogaine patients. We take your health very seriously and this is reflected in the strength of our medical component.

The Ibogaine treatment is administered at a medical facility, we have reserved a hospital ward for our patients, where doctors and nurses provide attentive care throughout the time the patient needs medical supervision.

Screening Process:   A prospective patient is required to fill out a Treatment Application Form disclosing detailed medical history and any prescription medications being taken. Our Doctors will carefully evaluate your application to determine if you can go through treatment.

Upon arrival at New Roots, patients receive a full medical exam that includes evaluation of their blood and liver enzyme panels. Our cardiologist will perform an echocardiogram and give us the green light to move forward with treatment. Finally, patients will also go through a complete psychological exam.

Transportation:  Once we’ve made a full assessment of your situation and confirmed a reservation, we will meet you in San Diego, CA (USA). Anyone traveling to Mexico is advised to have a ‘valid’ US passport, you can come back to the US with a valid ID (i.e. Driver’s license, etc.) but its recommended to have your passport. Special Features:   Our ibogaine treatment facility is conveniently located approximately 60 minutes South of the San Diego international border. Our home is a luxurious and spacious, 5-bedroom beachfront property in the beautiful Ensenada Beach Shore. Each client has a private master suite with their own bathroom. Amenities such as healthy meals, jacuzzi and massage are included. At our center, you will be in the hands of professionals 24 hours a day, 7 days of the week.
